When ever your sitting in class waiting for class to start - use the time to study - read your materials.
If you have time between classes - (college students sometimes have 30 mins or more between) use it for study - use all free time at school for study and not socializing. That will cut down alot on your at home studying. Keep a book for school with you where ever you go and study when you are waiting in Dr. office or if you riding in the car and someone else is driving - use your times like that. Getting small doses of learning is much more effective and long term in your memory than if you cram the night before for several hours in one sitting. It is better to study for 30 mins max - then take a 15 minute break - then go back to studying for 30 mins - take another break. Get up and move around - dance or do something physical - the information will stay with you longer and you will learn more.
Also, give yourself at least 2 days to write a 1-4 page paper. The first day do your intro paragraph - get it perfect. The second day write the rest of your paper. - the days proceeding when you first get the assignment mull it over in your mind and take down notes for ideas on what you want to write.
Also, get a study partner from class who is also smart and serious about getting a good grade - get together and study for tests - ask each other questions from the materials.
Get a tutor if you need one - in a difficult subject. If you are in college you might have free tutoring offered to you - talk to the college librarian for details.
Best wishes - hope you do well!

go make a doctors appointment..You could have ADD. If you do not have that, I would just say to try studying harder. When I was in school, I had trouble concentrating, I think I had ADD or something, but I didn't know about it back then. I wish, I had known about it, so I could have taken meds to help me concentrate better. I believe that my grades would have been better.
