honey being 13 u dont need makeup and u shouldnt want to wear makeup...ur beautiful the way u r. but if u really want to experience it i would go with lip gloss and maybe a lil eye shadow...dont over due it, u r only 13!

Well only 13, It's up to you I would suggest that you go to the mall and get a free make-up consult for your first experience. You usually have to make an appointment in advance. I would go to your local mall to a Department store look around at the make-up counters and talk to someone then if you see someone you feel comfortable with and colors you like make an appt. with that person. Remember this is free an there is no need to buy anything and when you are having your make-up done ask alot of ?'s write things down like color's of foundations, eyeshadows, eyeliners,lipgloss, lipsticks, etc. This is very important you have to go with your shape of your face, you don't always have to go with if you are a winter, spring, fall, person. You can wear any colors you feel comfortable in like pink,browns,oranges,greens,golds, and don't let anyone tell you different this is what will make your look your look! After having someone show you for the first time then you can experiment for yourself trial and error is the best way, because what looks good in a magazine won't necessarily be the look for you! Most of all make-up is fun!!!! So go for it and have a blast!! lol

At your age I would recommend asking your mom to take you to the beauty counter at one of the nicer fashion stores or somewhere like Merle Norman. They will usually offer to show you how to make the best of your looks without gunking it on. The local Avon lady or Mary Kay can do this also but alot of times they haven't had as much training.
I was an Avon lady for 6 years. I had already taught myself.
The thing to remember is that you want to enhance, not glob over. Have a makeup party with friends and practice. you can give each other facials and try stuff out, get other opinions from your own peer group that way.
I've always preferred to look as natural as possible, but I like to add a hint of the exotic by enhancing the slant of my eyes. I've got a natural almond shape and can almost look oriental if I do it just right. Everyone develops their own style, experiment and find yours.

you don't really need makeup. if you hate mascara then you could just curl your eyelashes and use a bit of shimmery neutral eyeshadow (think light tans or browns) and maybe a touch of peach blush on the apples of your cheeks. Also a clear or light lipgloss. Other than that, you shouldn't wear makeup if you don't want to. You're still young!

Since your only 13, you don't want to make yourself look old. Just wear natural colors for eyeshaldow, a light cream color and a light brown. Put a little blush on your cheaks to make them look like they have some color but don't over do it. And just a light colored lip gloss, peach, or just clear will do. Maybe just a little mascara, just 1 coat though.

Get ur mom to take u to a good department store to get a makeover. You don't want to do too much and u don't want to overdo it either. Make up is an important part of your life if u like it. Then u will spend many hours in the mirror and learn to relax while putting it on.If u get the right kind then it won't hurt u. MAC is verrrrry good

You should enjoy your natural beauty. Keep your innocent look for now. If u ever want to wear makeup just try eye shadow. Try light blues, pinks, purple, etc. Nothing dark. Try eyeliner and other dark colors when you get older. Like at 16. At this age you should look cute and natural. Look sexy when you get older. ;)
