I saw this movie once in the 70s. I don't know the name of it or who starred in it. I would like to buy it on DVD if it is available. Here goes: An unfaithful husband murders his wife. He chops her body into pieces, wraps the pieces in Butchers paper and places them in a meat freezer in his basement. The body parts "come to life" and escape from the freezer. The husband is then murdered by a disembodied hand. Later, The husband's mistress arrives at the house to check up on him. She finds his corpse then the wife's body parts attack her. Like I said I saw this movie over 30 years ago and have no other info.

I believe you are thinking of the movie "Asylum" which is actually a 4-story anthology film, with one of the stories being "Frozen Fear" with a plot much as you described.

I tried to email you but Y!A says your email has not been confirmed (FYI)

Anyway, this is REALLY strange, but I am 34 and about 26 or 27 years ago I stayed up late on a Friday night to watch "Friday Night Frights" and this EXACT movie is the one I watched. I was 6 or 7 and it scared the MESS out of me.... EVEN STRANGER - I was typing the exact same question as you when Y!A revealed your question to me..... Coincidence??? I am hoping we both get the answer we are looking for! Good Luck!!!
