True ciggerettes are bad for you health and blah blah blah but is making it illegal to smoke in certain areas really for people health or is it just a way to change everyone? Is freedom still exisent?

anything that the government creates to legislate "unpopular, yet legal" behavior is bullshit. It is simply one more way to control people. Check out Penn and Teller's BULLSHIT! episode on secondhand smoke. It has not been proven, it is a joke. If it was that deadly it would be outlawed...except, oh yeah, they tax the $hit out of it, and couldn't live without that money.

i do not smoke but i do not think this is fair, a ban in a plane or hospital thats about it. I think smoking sections are fine, if you want ot smoke go there if you do not then go elsewhere. they are passing a ban in florida to stop smoking on one of the beaches

..well ... i really hate anything that restrains or restricts people, but this is one thing i think has been proven to be a lethal health hazzard ... i personally have known someone who lived with a smoker and died from lung cancer from secondhand smoke ...keep it outside and away from everyone else especially kids ..

people also have the right to breath fresh air. so its not really good for the people that dont want to smell ur 2nd hand smoke
