People? As in humans? Maybe. But life elsewhere in this universe definately. There may not be any life close to our planet, but as quoted above, there are billions of billions of stars- say one star out of 1 billion stars has life on a planet surrounding it... you still have several billions of planets that would have life. To think that we are the only life forms (other than animals, of course...) in the whole universe is quite selfish. Besides, if there are intelligent life forms out there- who is to say they aren't watching and monitoring our planet, hiding while they do it. We haven't even found out all of the life forms on THIS planet. And if they are intelligent, why would they want to come down here now- look at the world today. War over different views of who is right.

I'm sure. Have you ever seen the Cave Drawings done on the walls that are over 10,000 years old? They drew pictures of people in what appears to be flying machines. These drawings were inspired by something that these people saw. They don't show them to often on TV because if questions the validity of religion. Since the Hubble Telescope, scientists say that there are about 1 billion suns , many with planets going around them. It's very unlikely that this is the only planet with intelligent life.

Foxlink answered this the best so far....all the planets, stars, moons, suns...are we really the only ones living in this universe? i don't think so...somewhere there's someone or something on another planet wondering if they are the one forms of life in this universe. i don't believe in "aliens" but i definitely don't think we're alone at all.

Well, I think there must be another kind of life in another planet, I mean, the universe is SO big, I don´t think we are the only life don´t you?

Maybe, but probaably a lot different then us. What are the chance that a life form grew the same exact way we did so so far away ina differant enviroment. Maybe not people, but probably other life forms.

Not in our solar system, but with billions of stars in billions of galaxies, I think there must be life out there somewhere. I don't know about people as that implies intelligence, but I'm sure there is life of some kind out there somewhere.
