Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?
By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

Have you ever thought of owning your own business, being your own boss and working when you want to work? I am a Consultant for The Pampered Chef an I love my job! I am the best boss I've ever had. Whether you love to cook, hate to cook, or don't know how to cook, you can do this job. It's fun, exciting and you meet so many people. If you are not familiar with the company it is a home based business that provides quality kitchen products by in home demonstrations. It's kind of like catering. I started my business so that I continue to be a stay at home mom and still make the income needed to provide for my family. I work my business around my family not my family around my business. . You can do it full time or part time. You can grow a team and advance to the top level of consultants. I'd love to share more information with you. Please email me with any questions. Good luck finding what you are looking for.

First off catering and food business is VERY tough. I watch my mother in law going through paper work, lawyers, health inspectors, getting help, All kinds of things. Its not just a walk in and make food get paid and leave thing. Its much more complex then that. She does fairs, cattle shows, and weddings. Shes on bookwork day in and day out. She actually only does about 3 major spots a year but its still non stop work. You still have to pay taxes and your employee's still have to pay taxes. and you better have it all right. sometimes you even loose money if you arent careful. Its not that simple. Just do more research and find something you really enjoy doing. Try and Ebay store to start with? GOODLUCK!!!
