I start in the middle. When the tube starts running out, then I push up from the bottom.

Well, I start in the middle, when it's first opened but then I revert to the top after a bit. I only ever use the bottom at the very end of the tube, then I squish it to the top.

middle and it used to drive my husband crazy. he would always get after me for the toothpaste. so I moved out of his bathroom and happily continue to squeeze from the middle!

When it gets low i roll up the bottom and squeeze it.
