If you want another baby then it's completely up to you. But, as people are pointing out, your age is a major factor in both getting pregnant successfully and you should give some thought to things like having a disabled child or how old you will be at your child's 21st birthday party. I'm sure you are concerned about these things so maybe we shouldn't be stating the obvious to you. I'd say make yourself a list of pros and cons of having another baby in your life and be completely honest about it. Also there is no harm in consulting a Dr and getting a medical opinion on your own personal health and situation.

I think that maybe you could be too old to conceive? Have you checked with your doctor? Maybe you should get him to run some tests. fertility drugs might be an option because of your age. There can be alot of complications in having a baby at your age too. It shouldnt really matter on the positions, what age is your partner? I know that not too many people even think of this but age and males sperm can be a huge factor. Maybe you should try and google that an see what you come up with. It might not be you at all, your partner could just be shooting blanks if he is older than you. Goodluck on conceiving, i couldnt imagine what it must be like to be running out of time to have a baby and not be able to. All the best!

Give your freaking head a shake. Having another child at your age is a pretty selfish thing to do. Are you just out to prove that you are still capable, or what? By the time your child has finished high school, you will be about 63 years old. What the hell do you think you will have in common with him/her? By the time your child has children, you will probably be dead and your grandchildren will never have known their grandmother.
I am 55 and my oldest grandchild is 14. I am going to live to see some great-grandchildren. If you have so much love for children that you want another, why not just give that love to the ones that you have, and to any grandchildren that you might get.
Besides, you might consider the medical facts with having a child this late in life. Miscarraige, stillbirth, physical and mental defects. You might also consider your own health.
As far as sex positions are concerned, just enjoy them and get back on the pill.

I'm not trying to be mean here but are you sure you want to get pregnant at your age? You should also consult with your doctor if you really want to go through with it. One of my mothers friends got pregnant at 45 and it was really hard on her...not only physically but emotionally as well. If you really want another baby, try checking into adoption. It saves your body of going through being pregnant, and going through labor, but yet you get to open your heart and arms to a child that doesn't have a loving family. Also, at your age, the risk for Downs Syndrome and other disabilites is so high. You would really need to devote your time and energy even more to the child if he or she was born with a disablity. Do you really want to bring a child into the world if you may not be able to care for him right? Just something to think about!!

You know adoption is always an open option and it helps out a whole lot. We already have a problem with over population and it would be nice if some folks would help taking care of what we already have. Nothing against making babies ,but it seems the situation is fitting.

The risk for your child having Down Syndrome is 1 in 25. Thats a pretty big chance if your willing to risk it.

I don't think it has to do with positions. I have heard that if you have sex every day especially the days you are ovulating, 15 days after last day of period, than you increase your chances.
