Alright, so, i have to write a short story thats 2 to 4 pages long typed, double spaced.... it also has to be a horror story..
Now, im a good writer, but i always have trouble thinking of ideas..
please help me with some ideas anyone might have, any suggestions welcome

The character returns to his or her childhood home, only to discover that a close friend died shortly after he or she left. While passing by the friend's house, the character thinks he or she sees that friend staring out a window. After a bit of investigating, the character learns that the friend's death was part of an elaborate ritual, and if it's completed the dead will walk the earth.

Take something a lot of people have fears about... the dentist, maybe, or having a car accident, etc... give the reader the victim's point of view and get that reader scared by being very visceral about the details... make them believe that they're there... and that their fate lies completely in the hands of another, but that the other in question is not completely trustworthy, or competent. Since it only needs to be 2-4 pages you don't have to have a beginning, middle and an end... in fact just the middle might be all you need.

You're working the summer at the docks - helping to off-load cargo. Part of your job is to go down in the hold and muck up whenever fruit products from Central America have been removed - they usually leak. You climb down, down - sunlight barely reaches there; your feet reach the slick bottom finally, and you begin the odious task assigned. The air is foetid - rancid smells, stangely sweet from the fruit juices. You hear a buzzing ....

I know this is way to long ago.... but for people who are just looking for topic ideas here they are: - One day a girl goes to some kind of camp or something for 3 years comes back to greet her best friend and when she comes home her best friend has been in juelville. She despertly wants to save her best friend and realizes that HE loves her! -A big catastrophe comes when two friends pick wrong friends to hang out with and they fall apart -A girl has been caught selling drugs and is beat up to the max or goes to jail( you can tell how she feels inside about selling drugs) -A popstar goes undercover as a nerd to feel how its like to be a reagular kid in high school, but it was horrible! Soon one of the "popular girls" steal her phone and finds out she the actress and tells her to call herself a dork at school or else shes going to let out her secret! Just saying these are my ideas!

horror, huh? o.k. here is an idea for ya
an old lady (make up a background of her to start off, alone, cats no family etc.)
she hears her neighbors fighting, husband kills the wife and buries her in the back yard. new roses are planted in the morning. he starts acting weird. selling the wife's car having hookers over etc. the old lady ends up solving the mystery of the missing nice wife and ends up killing him (with her dead husbands rifle she always meant to sell) when he tries to kill her for finding out. the old lady adopts the mans cat and all is fine in the sweet little neighborhood again. hope i gave you some good ideas. good luck

You get up one morning, do your usual routine and check your emails & Yahoo Answers just before going to school.
Then you head out for the day.
But, everyone you meet asks you questions:
"Do you know who wrote this song?"
"What website will give me movies for free?"
"Do you think this is the funniest joke ever?"
"Do my math homework for me?"
Over and over...people all around you...everywhere you go...and the questions just won't stop!!!!

Have like a freaky kid in the beginning of the story, and as the story goes on the freaky kid does freaky things, and eventually is found dead, and is thought to have committed suicide....u can take it on from there. =)

about a disfigured soda can who gets teased. gets mad and kills everyone with alcohol bombs.
