Little round felt pads. You can get them just about anywhere, Target, Walmart, etc. You can also buy hard plastic rounded "thingys" that stick on the bottom of chair legs. LAlso readily available. I recommend the plastic if you have dogs that shed. I have two dogs and use the felt. They collect dog hair.

Go to Walmart or any hardware store. They sell a felt product that is cut into circles that you sick on the bottom of the chair and table legs of your furniture. You can also buy a large square of it so that you can cut what you need to the correct size. It is very inexpensive and I replace them once every 5 years or so. They work great and it keeps your floors nice. Use it for wood floors also.

Orchard Supply or Home Depot will have the felt pads you're talking about. They come in lots of sizes. Good idea.

They are a type of plastic glider that is screwed or nailed into the bottom of wood chairs. If the chair has metal legs, there is a type of felt glider. Go to you local hardware store, they are easy to find.

yard cleaner may help (its hydrocloric acid). As for non-slip polish, that sounds like a contradiction in terms.
