You are young to have arthritis which is what it sounds like. It's probably not serious but the next time I went to the Dr. I would get that in on the exam. Tell him and he may measure your legs to make sure they aren't different lengths, which isn't that uncommon. But for comfort you can use Advil when it hurts, take with food , if it's something you can take. Have you strained it anytime recently...it takes a good 6 weeks for a simple sprain to heal and longer if it's worse. I have one bad hip but I have some age on me. At night I lie on the opposite side and rotate the hip that hurts around in large circles, slowly and hold it in position all around and get smaller with the rotations each time then I rub the ball and joint area briskly on the buttocks part to get the blood flowing into the joint. A Sister of the cloth who was a physical therapist taught me that and moist heat helps too. Make sure the Doc. Gets to examine you next time you have to go OK? OK>

mine used to 'click' when I walked after I a grueling day of basketball in college. I later found out I had an avulsive fracture (part of the bone was chipped off). It would hurt me the most after walking for sometime or when my leg was bent in a certain position. They noticed something on a regular x-ray, then found the fracture with an MRI. It's manageable these days and rarely bothers me anymore though. If it doesn't go away, get a simple X-ray done to rule obvious stuff out.

I truthfully have an identical concern and that i've got had it on the grounds that i became a toddler. in case you place your hand on it once you walk, it kinda "clicks" out and gets sore each and every so often. I went to my wide-unfold practitioner who had no theory what i became conversing approximately till I made him walk around the examing room along with his hand on my hip. His advice? purely workout greater. sturdy luck.
