I will be married 12 years in June. I know he is my soulmate because we think alike. We finish each others sentences. When I tell him what I'm making for dinner and said that's what I was going to ask you to make. It's kinda freaky sometimes but I wouldn't have it anyother way. I'm sorry I know you didn't want answers for anyone married under 25 years but I had you let you know how I know he is my soulmate.

Your question is definitely a little vague. If you are asking how do you heal after 25 years of marriage, then my answer is that you don't. However, I have found that as time passes it thickens the "scaring" making it more and more bearable. Try your best to find any positive thoughts in your now situation and keep them upfront in your mind, it helps. Do things that you weren't able to do before, even the littlest things and then feel proud that you accomplished them. Yes, 25 years is a long time in some peoples eyes, and a long time for something to go wrong, but things do go bad and also go wrong. This is part of our lives, our being. Unfortunately, love brings with it many emotions we must bear in one way or another, good and bad, yet to find that love for if only a little while is much more than some people ever get to experience.
