Oh, it all goes back to NAZI germany. Get them young when they're easier to brainwash and keep them stupid because stupid peopl are easier to manipulate because they haven't been taught to think in logical, sequential, or even questioning methods. Also stupid people tend to be lower income and lower hope.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with patriotism. You think its wrong to be proud of your country? You have serious problems. Creationism? What's wrong with that? You think its a coincidence that the universe was formed and that life began and had all the resources it needs to survive? I honestly believe some higher power made all of thise. Disinformation? How, exactly? Selective history? Democrats only want to show the dark side, while republicans show the lighter side. Wagging finger at thinkers? Democrats are the ones who shun free speech and new ideas. So how are the conservatives dumbing down the children? Do you know that the majority of teachers are liberals? They're the ones who are teaching our kids.

Wrongo, Marylou, it's the liberals who've created this mess out of the public school system. "Oh! You colored that picture so nicely! Here's a sticker!" Now, now, Tommy! Sure you failed that test even though I did it with you and gave you the answers, but you should feel good about yourself anyway. We'll just make 60 a passing grade so you can reach it faster. Here's a sticker! Of course you're going to get a track scholarship to college even though your 12-years-old, in the fifth grade still and read on a first grade level. You ARE somebody! Your mommy doesn't want to wake you up an hour earlier so you can come and get a good, free breakfast before school even though she gets food stamps? That's OK, the teacher will delay lessons for an hour so she can serve you in the classroom." All true! I experienced them myself as a teacher in a public school in the inner city. These kids are far from dumb, but liberals have taught them that anything goes as long as they feel like doing it.
Liberals have taught kids that whatever they want to do they can do without having to work too hard for it. Liberals have decided that if a kid doesn't want to do it right now, he shouldn't have to. Liberals decided that the bar was too high to reach so they lowered it and lowered it and lowered it so kids wouldn't have to work too hard to achieve, so kids work even less and, therefore, can't reach the bar anyway.

You forgot athletes, and stealing by patenting isn't creative, NY and CA are as bright as anywhere but the demented are in the majority, that is their tragedy. They didn't steal the world's best brains but have certainly exploited many of the populations they came from. We have yet to see if they will triumph and slip gently down the world's league tables as an ex Imperial power or turn to fascism and perhaps blow up or enslave the world before their power slips away, we shall see.

The dumber they are, the more easily controlled and led...but of course you eventually end up with a third world country and lose the technology edge that once made you a great nation.
Of course we can just join hands and pray that we will continue to create the world's best fighter aircraft....
But that would take a lot of faith...
