Get ready for your back rub. Sean Connery was the original James Bond way back in the 60's. Can't remember the name of the first film though. Roger Moore came along in the 70's.

Barry Nelson played Bond in a TV version of one of the Bond books prior to Sean Connery - may have been Casino Royale.

It was Sean Connery for the big screen, but officially the very first actor to play Bond in any film was Barry Nelson in an Americanised television episode adaptation of Casino Royale in 1954.
