Do all Kwickset house key blanks have the same groove pattern? Or does Kwickset and Schlage make a variety of house keys with different groove patterns?
Thanks.

kwikset has one keyway KW1 Schlage makes around 50 different keyways, in a residential application the only schlage keyway you are likely to see is SC1 the others are reserved for massive master keying applications

Different. The most common Schlage house key, for example, is the SC1 pattern, but there are many others. If I remember right, about 3 Schlages and Kwiksets cover like 90% of the needs.

Go to Home Depot/Lowe's, and ask the key guy. I suspect they both have a variety.

if your entry key is on an "SC1" blank, then the uncut blank was the same as every other uncut SC1 Blank until it was cut.

Kwikset has one standard blank also
