First I would get some BROWN VINEGAR 9can get health food store and any major grocery store as Kroger,Publix -- take a 1/2 cup of room temperature water-lukewarm and mix in 1 1/2 tablespoon then dab on the ringworm-ringworm is a fungus and vinegar kills Fungus, mold, mildew, bacteria and returns the skin to a normal PH level and leave it on but do watch for any sign of irritation if it does then wash off and reduce vinegar to 1 tablespoon in 1/2 cup of water. also you've only used for 2 days and it takes approx a week for it to get better I'd also call the Pharmacist and ask if LotriminAF is the standard medication-when should the ringworm be gone and any product that is better Ringworm is in the Atletes Foot Family of Skin Disorders and Lotrimin is effective against it so as i mentioned may just need to use longer. Do the Brown Vinegar treatment and it should be ok to combine. The Brown Vinegar also has Minerals like Potassium and so forth that help to speed healing and it will also alleviate the itching. For the teehing(Nephew has baby going through teething right now) his wife from the Pediatrician received medication that she rubs on his gums and it has numbing effect and until it wears off the baby is much relieved and of course the chew toys for teething incl the kind you get cold first in the fridge are being used also. Really do hope this helps your little boy. The vinegar smell goes away in approx 10-15 minutes. Tee Trea Oil is also effective but would chk first to make sure safe for baby.. But do Call the Pharmacist

If its truly ringworm the cream will work if it does not start getting better say in two more days go back and ask for some other recommendation. If the baby is teething try some toys that can be frozen so he can gnaw with his gums on it. Try a little tylenol and spread a little directly on the gum it will absorb there. Try some ambisol to numb them too. Good luck

Any over the counter antifungal will work. Try tinactin if lotrimin isn't working. Even when it looks as though the RW has disappeared, keep using the ointment a few more days. It is a stubborn fungus, and it will re-appear in a week or so if you don't completely do away with it.

Hi, my name is Eunice Saunders and I have 10 children and 14 grandchildren so I reckon I know the answer to the question! That brand will work fine....and any knock off such as Walmart brand works just as well only cost less....it does take a while to work but it works....just remember when you see it start to go away DON'T stop using the medicine or the ring worm will just come back....you must use it twice a day for at least ten days to be sure to get it all....also be sure to keep out an eye for more as if your child is susceptible to ring worm he will most likely battle them for years to come....so keep some of that medicine handy. Good Luck! Thanks, Eunice

Yeah, ringworm is a fungus, so that cream SHOULD work. If it's getting worse, you might try a different anti-fungal cream or maybe see another nurse/doctor. Or, call Kaiser and tell them what is up. Maybe it takes awhile for the cream to work, or they might suggest trying something else. Good luck to you and the wee one.

My 3 year old somehow developed a nasty case of ringworm. He had spots everywhere. We used iodine on them. It dried them out. They didn't vanish right away but you could see a definite improvement after one application. Just make sure you blow on it to dry it completely because it stains horribly. And also sometimes my son said it hurt sometimes he didn't say anything, so i wouldn't be discouraged if your son said the iodine hurt. I'm telling you it worked wonderful.

My daughter (14 month) used to bite me allot and still bites sometimes. When she bit the first couple times, I tried to pull her away from me me, all I did was hurting myself even more. So I had to push her face into my breast (for 1-2 seconds) and she'd open her mouth quicker than anything. I only had to do it a few times and she stopped biting me. I know it sounds cruel, but that was the only thing that helped.
