Maybe we are starting to learn, but we still have a long way to go. Mind you no matter how advanced we get there will always be some form of bigotry, so don't hold your breath waiting for the lion to sit side by side with the sheep anytime soon.

They're not? People are now afraid of and dislike a different religious/ethnic group than they did in the 40's through the 80's.

To hate one for the color God created them to be is like Hating someone for breathing....It's not a choice we make ourselves...We breathe, therefore..we live....We have skin..therefore it must be a certain color so we are not all the same!! I feel that the world has progressed beyond the plague of racial segregation....Although some still cling to the "My hood" routine....It isn't wise..we all can learn from eachother. Long winded..YES...Ignorant to the tension in the world today..NO

Racism exists and will always exist. Some people just look down on others, look despectively on them, for any reason... Whether they have less education, less money... racism isn't a matter of skin colour only.

My belief is because all of the older racist,has gone on to glory or to hell depending on if God forgave them, They are no longer her to brainwash each other or their family, to raise their children to hate blacks. Blacks I do believe were never taught to hate whites(Well i will speak for my self,my mother never taught her children to hate whites, in the fifthy i went to school with whites and one of my best friends was white,But i was told by my mother to be careful because the girls family may not like her hanging around with blacks.
