I remember on old television a show where you put a trace paper up on the screen and drew with wink a dink, and yes other cartoons like that. What was the clown that came out of an ink well, and ran the length of the cartoon, and at the end, went back in the well and the artists hand was seen putting the cork on the ink well bottle?

No. But I remember Mike Myers doing something similar on SNL.
He kinda played a weird kid who sat in the bath tub and did drawings. His theme song always went like this:
Well you know my name is Simon! And I like to do draw-rings!

It's still on. For real. My kids watch it. Mr dressup (Ernie Coombs) does the voice and narration (poor guy passed away a few years ago).
