Sadly, they do not. They all think that 2000 was in the 21st century. What do you think is sadder, the fact that they haven't won for so long, or the fact that they don't know when the 21st century began?

Yes Georgie, I know that the Yankees havn't won the World Series since 2000. When was the last time Detroit won the WS?? And how many WS titles do they have? Not even close to the 26 that the Yankees have. I sure hope that the Cards wipe the turf with the Tigers in the series. Never have liked the Tigers. Hope they choke big time.

how many free agents did the tigers sign over the last few years? how many players did they buy? the reason why the yankees payroll is high is because they have an owner who pays to keep these players or you lose them.. the tigers if they win will then have to decide to pay or lose their stars. lets hope they have an owner who rewards players with loyalty rather than fire saling them all out like the marlins did and then make excuses for their record by saying payroll,, payroll,, payroll,...watch what happens to the tigers payroll when they win the series.. it will double... also nugster you ignorant jerk... guess which team is second in payroll? redsox baby nuts and do the marlins or any other low payroll team come whining about the redsox? at least the yankees are there every year and the tigers will be like the whitesox next year and all you whiners will just complain about payroll, payroll, payroll... nugster are you now a tigers fan ? boy do you dump your redsox quick... warwick rhode island.. what do you expect?

There is a school of thought called common usage that says the 21st century started on Jan. 1, 2000 and ends Dec. 31, 2099. This would make you wrong Mr. Know-It All, Georgie Porgie. As I have stated previously you are not the beginning and the end.

Georgie, even though you aren't a Michigan fan, I like your style.

I especially like how many of the yanker fans think that if they throw more money at the problem it will be fixed. That's sure worked the last 6 years.

The yankers are the Buffalo Bills of this decade. Go ahead and live in the past with your world championships. The cold hard reality is that your offseason began on Oct 7 with a monumental failure.
