It's not just the billion or so of Muslims, although they're an important sector. It's the fact that we've lost so much prestige and respect overseas, from Europe to the Indian sub-continent to Africa and other places. When I was a teen, I went to Europe as a tourist and I went proudly and placed a USA sticker on our car. I couldn't even imagine doing the same thing now. And this isn't due to Muslims. It's the Europeans who also despise us, who think we've become bullies who go in and start wars for nothing.
