As you can tell from some of the answers, they believe in pseudoscience.

I'm a moderate conservative, AND a Christian, and I believe in evolution. Not the "we evolved from apes" evolution (which there is NO proof for!), but evolution within species."

Creationism by any other name is still creationism.

What? Of course conservatives believe in science!
I'm a moderate conservative, AND a Christian, and I believe in evolution. Not the "we evolved from apes" evolution (which there is NO proof for!), but evolution within species.
I also believe in global warming, although I'm skeptical of the causes. The earth has gone through warming and cooling stages for nearly as long as it's been here, even before there was man.
So yes, conservatives do believe in science. I'm not the exception to the rule, I'm closer to being part of the rule.

I have a better question. What kind of education do you have that taught you to ask such a stupid question? Science is not something that one "believes in." However, I do not believe everything that every scientist says is a fact just because a scientist says it is. There are scientists who believe in UFOs, ghosts, ESP and a bunch of other nutty stuff. If you are referring to "global warming," there is no concensus among scientist that it is happening beyond normal global cycles.

Uh, since when do conservatives hate conspiracy theorists? Half their news comes from chain emails by cranks! They worship Glenn Beck and Alex Jones. They ARE conspiracy theorists themselves.
