I have some great naturally based bath and body products, including my very own recipe of body butter made with shea butter and other ingredients. How would I go about getting my product into stores?

Make an appointment with the shop owner, do not show up unannounced. Give out samples and information on your products. Sell YOU! Be friendly and easy to talk to. Ask questions, don't do all the talking. Make them feel good about themselves and they'll feel great about selling your product!

Retail is all about visibility. The more visible your product is, the higher chances of a sale.
That said, make appointments with stores that sell similar products. It's a good idea to use consignment, ie. let the store display your product without it having to pay upfront. Give them a generous commission, say 40-50% instead of the normal 15-30% for consignment sale.
