Now it's Reuters' turn to don the tin foil hats and begin frothing about how the Bush junta are set to play a wild card to claw back their slipping control of the House and Senate.

Reuters John Whitesides. "The October surprise has a long history in U.S. political campaigns, from the collapse of hostage negotiations with Iran before President Jimmy Carter's 1980 loss to Ronald Reagan to the airing of an Osama bin Laden video before President George W. Bush's re-election in 2004."

How dare Reuters even cite these examples? We all know that government to its core is purely angelic and hasn't engaged in deceit and barbarism as a matter of course throughout history! Political conspiracies just don't happen!

Pollster John Zogby agrees that there is a "huge potential" we will witness an event that "reminds everyone just how unstable the world is."

Yeah yeah and Elvis was abducted by beings from Zeta Reticuli who also remote controlled the planes into the towers. We all know that 9/11 happened precisely as the government said it did - we all know that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction - because political conspiracies just don't happen!

Others cite the delay of a verdict in Saddam Hussein's dog and pony show trial which will take place on November 5. A likely death sentence for the U.S. government's wayward client would be delivered two days before the mid-terms.

How could a guy for see the future. Jules Verne visualized a nuclear submarine in the 1800. There have been many instance's that people have seen the future, they just didn't know it I think. Anybody remember Buck Rodgers, he was and astronaut in the 1930's I think in one of his episodes he actually went to the moon. Do I scoff global warming, no. Do I scoff that the government was involved in 9/11 well, it is conceivable, but doubtful, I still wouldn't or won't scoff it, I might question it. But not write it off. Kennedy was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald and I am pretty convinced that is right. still though not enough evidence to prove it.
Government has never been under the hands of so many evil people ever before in our history. Just look at all the bad that has happened in 6 years. I do not think of them as angels.

Are you saying that Bush and Chaney didn't have remote controls to those 2 planes that hit the towers and it was really terrorist's that did it and they didn't plant bombs in the towers the night before? And Bush didn't lasso Katrina to hit New Orleans so he could kill poor black people? I don't know that sounds like a far fetched conspiracy to me.

In general, there may be some paranoia, but I believe that they are simply free thinkers and EXACTLY what the government hates the most. (somebody who thinks for themselves)

For Answerman: There is simply too much evidence to dismiss Kennedy's assassination as that of ONE man.
Are you aware that Nixon was in Dallas the day before?
Too much "coincidence" for me...

"never give up your gun"

You defend your second amendment right, but you support the liberals? Are you RETARDED? You know the liberals are taking your guns right? You know they are taking your first amendment as well? They used "hate speech" to gain a foothold there.

Liberal morons, like the one below, are known to spew out opinions and generalizations then incorrectly use the word fact.
