My doctor is constantly wanting to check me for hernia. You know... the "cough" test? I have a desk job and no danger of hernia whatsoever. Now, he's all of the sudden worried about my prostate and thinks he should check me once a month.

I honestly don't think he could cure a ham! Should I switch doctors?

Well, if your doctor is hot, you should let his check your prostate more often than THAT. If he's a wrinkly old pervert who just can't get over the fact that he can no longer get into the pants of a fine young stud such as yourself so he's trying to get all the contact in that he can, kindly sue him for as much money as you can squeeze out of him and give your Wonderdog as well as yourself, the spa treatment that you truly deserve. ;-)

A once a month prostrate exam is quite extreme....that's usually done only about once a year after you reach about 40. As for the hernia, you could get that even if you do have a desk job.

response coming from a male-------run, don't walk, to another doctor. ask him how frequently he checks his male patients to see if they have a hernia or problem with their prostate. you'll know when it's time to have the doctor scheck for a hernia.
you'll experience pain in the scrotum and feel a lump of fatty tissue. as for the prostate-----40 years or over-----have it checked once a year unless there is a diagnosed problem that needs continuous monitoring.

Yes. The insurance company is certainly not going to pay for more than one prostate exam a year following a negative test. He may be padding his reports to the insurance company.

learn how to do self tests to and beause you wash that part every shower, check it every time you take one. if you feel somethng not right go to a dr.
And you still have the chance to get hurnias to, just more rare.
also stay in shape to, dotn not work out beaucse you have a desk job. If your phyisicly active you need a full physical once a year.

It's time to change Doctors because for reasons I don't understand you have lost confidence in his abilities. When that happens it's time to find a new Dr.
