My boyfriend of almost 4 years broke up with me a few weeks ago. We have a daughter who is 3 so we still talk every day. He even calls just to talk to me and let me know what's going on with him. He is living about 45 minutes away so there's no chance of us just running into each other, visits are planned. I truly love him and i don't just want to be with him just because we have a kid together. He knows i still love him and want to be with him. I tell him enough but not every day because i don't want to annoy him. What should I do????????? I know you are going to say wait but the more I wait the more i feel like there's no chance.

He didi ask me to marry him a couple of years ago but it is not something i wanted to do. We had to many friends that got married and all their problems started after they got married, and i didn't want to have the same situation with us, and he respected my decision.

Keep things w/him casual for now...stop telling him how much you love him and i hope you haven't told him you want him back numerous times. You'd be giving him control over the situation. He broke up w/you, he has his reasons and you need to respect that. If the break up was in his mind the best...you're not going to be able to get him back any time soon...it has to be something he wants. The best thing for you to do right now, is show him you're not dependent on him, act like you're moving on. Drop subtle comments from time to time about how busy you are, maybe about someone you're interested in seeing and how excited you are. If HE wants you back he'll be uncomfy hearing about any guy who might be competition. If he doesn't want you back, he'll be happy that you have someone. Good luck and remember...don't let him know how badly you miss him.

Let it go and go on with your life. Nobody can make anyone come back or stay if they don't want to. The more available you are, the less chance there is. For that matter why have a kid with someone who won't even marry you?

Keep the line of communication open, be honest, patient and have faith in god if you both are christians god will answer your prayers but it may not be in the time frame that we as humans expect. God has his own timing and there is a reason and a purpose for everything.

U know what you should do! If he doesn't have a g/f you should go by his place by your self and hangout and talk or even do something. And maybe sooner or later he will feel something for u.
JUst keep hanging out with him! :O)
