Extra Wide......lol....
What do All those Letters Mean?
For most people knowing their shoe size is not quite enough. Width is also a factor - but there's so many letters!
On the website there is a chart to help you sort out what markings constitute a slim, narrow, wide or extra wide shoe.
Tip for Wide Widths: The more letters, the wider the shoe.
Example: EEEE or 4E is wider than EEE or 3E.

Various letters represent widths of shoes. E means wide for example and each step up or additional E means wider yet. A EE 8 would be a double wide size 8 shoe. There are narrow shoes and they are called N for narrow you see. My father had a high instep so he took a triple E shoe or EEE shoe. Understand?

They are the width of the shoe. C is the most narrow, D is average, E is wide. Then there are multiple Es also -- like EEE -- for even wider.

The letter on a shoe size is the width. The number is the length. Widths are A, B, C, D, E, EE, EEE, and even EEEE. (I wear the EEEE.)

It is the shoe width. The "higher" the letter, the wider the show. Also, the more, the wider.
Kinda like bra cup sizes!

It is the width of the shoe, and if you were wondering what width you are just go to a shoe store or to the mall and ask the sale associate to help you.
