What are their chances ? They are the only premiership team to remain unbeaten so far. Chelsea - Liverpool and Man United have all lost games. Drop by and say hi anyway on my blog. It might be a dream but its a good one for me. I have been a Villa fan since I was a kid growing up in Birmingham in the 1970's - I live in Canada but am still a fan.

Realisticallly they have no chance. After last season I think many people saw them as relegation fodder but:
1 They now have a top class manager
2 Ellis has gone
3 They have made a reasonable start to the season but bear in mind they have only won 3 games with the rest drawn. You do not win the title drawing so many games.
4 Hopefully there will be money available in January. I do not think O'Neill will waste this and will buy wisely.
5 Gareth Barry is the best player in the country not picked for international duty.
A place in Europe is the best they can hope for.

Probably that Lermer chap, who got tricked by Deadly Doug into buying Villa with promises that they'll be Champions in no time.

Trust me son, Villa aint gonna be Champions, not with this team and certainly not with the thin squad they have now. You need at least 2 good full 11s, if you're gonna challenge the Chelseas of this world.

They are definitely having quite a season, just like Portsmouth...but unfortunately, I just don't see it happening. The way English football is set-up, the chances of a team, without the 100 million euro budget, doing well is not good. I think that Chelsea, unfortunately, will win again

Not great.

Just because they are undefeated doesnt mean much. They also havent won as many games, hence why they are already 5 points back even though they are undefeated.

Think it'll be down to Manchester United and Chelsea, with Chelsea coming out on top as they get healthier.
