The phenomena of the weak and infirm of the mind believing everything the right says has never been fully explained. I believe that, on some primitive level said weak are aware of their inherent stupidity and fear for their own safety. The right propaganda proclaims stability (though it results in instability) and the weak gravitate towards that perception conveyed. The extreme of this is the severely mentally ill experiencing religious conversions.

The same reason many people fail to see through left-wing propaganda: Because it's all relative.
If propaganda is more conservative than you are, you'll see it as right-wing propaganda. If it's more liberal, you'll see it as left-wing.
If you're a moderate, you simply see things more clearly.

...people just dont think, its a well-known fact ... and the trend in the US no matter what wing ur looking from, is that the government seems to have a policy that people dont need to see or hear the truth ... only tell them what benefits policy.

Well one of the reasons is the intelligence level in the country. Ever wonder why Republicans block stem cell research? Can you imagine that in the future people could be given brain cell injections and become smarter. OOOOOOh man they don't want that now do they?

Left or right wing, when the government becomes more secretive, rolls back constitutional rights "To Defend the Nation", and changes the rules so that elections are less competitive, things have gotten out of hand.
