hey i just wanted to know if anybody else had that problem. i have so many of them, and when i accedentally leave a glass of water or sinkful of dishes out, there are a bunch of dead little things that drowned. i came upstairs earlier today actually and there was a puddle of water on the floor from where my cat knocked it off the kitchen counter. there were at least a hundred little things in the water. i've tried fly strips, traps, poison, and everything. they come every year and i want to know if anybody else has this problem, and maybe if they know how to fix it? please help!

not sure where you live...i'm in west virginia.....and i have had major problems with them this summer and fall. my mom and dad have as well. you can get spray for them, but it doesn't seem to help. just make sure that you don't leave any food or water out for them.....the weather is getting colder, hopefully they will be dying off soon....

As a trap, you can use apple cider vinegar with a few drops of dish soap in it. Just put it in a little bowl and leave it on your counter, should do the trick.

Gnats and fruit flies are both attracted to the color yellow and to water. In your local garden center you may be able to find yellow sticky paper traps to put up. I can't remember any specific brand.

Flies become a nuisance when they enter homes. You can get rid of these by using pest control.

i thought it was just my house haha
but I cant get water to help the ones i have.
maybe wine would work.. i know a long time ago my mom used that in my other house.
