DRM?
Basically, it will go with Windows Vista and their crap DRM protections and cause a huge outburst of people... until the 3rd day once it's cracked.

TV's are digital and have "chips"in them now. Chips are getting bigger all the time. Soon, TV will merge with the computer as one unit in the home. The screen may be as thin as a sheet of newspaper or even in the wall-paint or wallpaper.

So what does the future hold for Television systems? TV newspapers! It’s all possible since Dr. Jeremy Burroughes patented the all new PPV technology. In recent years, Dr. Burroughes discovered that light can be created by passing voltages across thin plastics known as PPV. It is simply “conjugated polymers” that can convert electric energy directly into light. With that as the base of his technology, he can easily create ultra thin television systems that can be carried around like folded newspapers. So we can definitely look forward to carrying our TV’s around with us everywhere we go and never miss a thing!

I agree with the majority of responses you've already received. It will have no effect on computers, unless, of course, you have an analogue TV card fitted in your computer. Then you'll need to upgrade that to a digital one.

The simple answer is none.
Digital TV simply means a different receivor to old analogue TV sets.
However the next big thing is telecome companies offering bundles. You may get your Cable TV, Broadband, Telephone and Voip all from one provider. So then further integration becomes possible

Broadband transmissions can handle many simultaneous transmissions. The downside is that when that one conductor is damaged, all that data stops. Keep some backup system handy. Like if your house phone goes out, you can still call 911 on your cell phone.
