Ipod question.?

When I usually charge it it shows a little thing the syas batteryu charging. I now played it until it was dead and I am trying to charge but no screen. Why?

according to apple, if you drain the batter completely it can take some time before the iPod has enough juice to wake up and be recognised the the computer. Here's a link from apple's support site about this...http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302420
