A Panasonic upright, industrial vacuum. To find the exact model call the dealer below. That is not me, but this business has been voted the best and has been around for a long time. They can tell you the model number for the vacuum I am talking about. This is not only the best vacuum for pet hair, but the best vacuum, period.

Definitely the Dyson DC14 or DC15 Animal (the purple one). It is the best vacuum on the market made especially for pet owners because it never loses suction or airflow, unlike any other brand. Plus, the DC15 Ball twists and turns like no other- trust me.

Most Hoover works good. For sofas, use lint remover rolls because you would not want to use the vacuum cleaner to clean the sofas and for the tools setting is not strong enough suction.,

Kirby. They pick up pet hair that you wouldnt even know was there. My old roommate worked for them and used to bring hers home. We would vaccume the entire house with the regular bought from walmart vaccume then go over it with the kirby. you would not believe the stuff this thing gets out of your carpet..

Dyson Animal - after more than a year, mine is still working just as great as the day I bought it. You might try the yellow model - it just doesn't have all the attachments but is the same machine.
