Romeo is like 10 years older than me. What should I do???
The difference is as dramatic as 15 and 25.
Also, I'm homeschooled so I don't have any experience with this type of stuff.

Just play the part, the best you can. It's a stage performance, not a relationship or a job. Wasn't Romeo older than Juliet, anyway?

Personally, I dont think you should play the part. If your ok with Romeo being 10 years older than thats fine. It all depends if you want to play Juliet more than anything else. lol

There is obviously nothing you can do about the age difference. If you are both actors, it shouldn't matter- many, many actors play younger than their real age. The director apparently saw something in the pairing that can work- trust his/her judgment and concentrate on the things you can control. It's one of the best roles an actress can play, and I hope it goes well!

Do your own artwork! that's 600 words, which double spaced is almost 2 pages, that's no longer lots. additionally, look at all the questions. "Why do you think of?" "What did you learn?" the instructor is seeing what YOU found out, no longer what people on Yahoo solutions. study the play, that's a great play that has inspired lots literature to this present day.

tell whoevers organizing the play that you don't feel comfortable about kissing an older guy like that and ask her if you could just fake kiss him or something.

or

tell the play organizer that your mom or dad said they don't like the idea of kissing this guy.

trust me,i used to do plays all around San diego...good luck!

back out if you really have problems with this guy. But . . . to be a good actress, you learn to deal with stuff like this. Instead of major kissing, stage kiss. This really shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Relax, it's acting anyway, right? No real affection is supposed to be involved, just make it look really good. Also, it'll probably be a stage kiss, not a real one.

Why does that matter? As long as you don't show real affection to him, it's all right. But if you're THAT uncomfortable, tell the manager to change the actor or quit.
