Good choice. I know there are still arguements over whether or not they actually help all the time. However, most evidence points to the fact that they do save lives. I personally know someone involved in a headon collision on the highway and she was wearing a seatbelt and the other 2 people in the other car weren't. She survived with a broken foot. Neither the driver or passenger in the other survived. Also know of another wreck recently with 3 sixteen year old girls. 2 wore seatbelts and 1 did not. They all got some injurys but the one not wearing her belt was in a coma for nearly 1 & half months. The other 2 were out of the hospital in a day or 2.

I always have. Our car doesn't move unless my son is buckled in too. Why take a chance? My nephew's car went into a ditch. He had his seatbelt on and his window open. He went half way out of the car but his seatbelt kept him from flying out completely and he was fine. Very lucky.

Since I was 9 years old and in a bad car accident, I have always worn a seatbelt no matter what.

I have never been in a serious accident, but I still wear my seatbelt all the time. I hate when I see parents who don't buckle their children in seatbelts when they travel too.

I was involved in a accident, my child was less than a year old. Thank God, we were wearing a seatbelt, they do save lives. Tell your friends, buckle up for life.

YES.
I got pulled over for putting my seatbelt on as I was pulling out of a driveway; so I opted to go to the seat belt class to lessen the fine, etc.
The images that they showed at this class are still lodged in my mind's eye; they were horrific. The class was taught by a retired emergency room/life flight nurse and she was crying during most of it. In many cases it wasn't images of death, but images of those who didn't die that were the most heart wrenching -- and believe me, that was worse than death. I hope your friends died quickly and painlessly.

Yes, but every once in a while I forget to remind the older kids and don't notice till we're down the road. Freaks me out.
