My friend Larry says that President Bush has made a lot of enemies for the US and alienated a lot of countries. My friend Moe says that Bush has not alienated any other countries except maybe France. I don't think either of them ever talks to anybody from another country so how would they know? If you are from another country, do you feel that you or your country has been alienated by Bush?

Faisal, it's hard not to care about Bush. As president of the most powerful country in the world there is pretty much no limit to the ways that he can affect citiizens of his country and the rest of the world too.

Nahin K you should probably be reported for pretending to be someone you're not but I think you're funny so I'm just going to point out to everyone that your answer is BS.

I really think it depends on the opinions of who you're talking to, as well as where they're from. I think Bush has definitely alienated most people from other countries, but (for example), I am from rural Alberta in Canada, which is probably the most conservative area of Canada (we've been compared to the Bible belt), and I know there are some people here who agree with his policies (although how anybody can after what he pulled with The Military Commissions Act, I have no idea). I think he's pretty much hated everywhere else in Canada though, or at least by the majority. But we also fear. Or I do, anyway... Bush has done a lot of stupid things (Military Commissions Act just happens to be the latest and one of the worst) and we're so close and so much under the influence of the States sometimes that there's no telling how things could turn.

Well... it is obvious that Bush lied about iraq war to the americans and the rest of the world. Plus the policies in middle east including iraq, palestine, and lebanon crises has made a lot of people mad. I dont understand exactly what u mean by alienated? no country can be alienated, they always have friends. even north korea has china, Iran has russia.

The fact is, that the US president has alienated a lot of countries. There is a reason almost no one is fighting along the Americans in Iraq (except a couple of countries).

I don't feel that we've been alienated. But I do think that Bush has made enemies of most of our country. He's made alot of bad decisions concerning us and just believes that we will always be there as an ally.

After 9/11, Bush promised us a safer world, and.......?
He is the weakest President in the history of the US.
War on Terror - Terror is increasing.
War on Drugs - What a joke!
War on Poverty - The rich don't need a 'War on Poverty', do they?
I don't know how you Americans tolerate him. You guys get a bit full of yourselves at times, but you were tolerated by the rest of the world, even copied. God forbid! (But that's only my opinion.)
In any other country in the world public opinion would have forced him to step down.
