Emo is short for emotional. (as if u dont kno by now) Emo really isnt semi goth emo is more far out becuz most emos are also cutters and hate there life but emo is acualy a type of music. but it does also refer to people who wear mainly black clothing and have a dim out look on life while being very pestimistic and like bringing about pain to them selves.

Emo is short for emotional. It's sort of a semi-goth/punk thing and the music is very emotional and sad. Emo's tend to be a bit more emotional than other people (or they at least act like it). The guys tend to wear tight pants and sometimes eyeliner. Both guys and girls of the group tend to cover their eyes with their hair. Some of the stereotypes about them are that they all dress as said above, cut, and write dark/emo poetry. Emo is really about being more emotionally sensitive, showing it, and listening to emo music.

let me call a friend...he can tell u all about this emo group...i say emo is just a phase..when they have identity crisis and whichever group they get acquainted or accepted...they are there....they can be kids with a lot of pain......and they should not be shunned...they should be supported and loved more

emo is short for emotional. its for teens who go through the down part of mood swings more then the up part. j/k . it's a punk rock subculture surrounding sensitive music

emo is the guys in girls pants and make up, and the girls who hang out with them. they're all overly sensitive and clique-y. and their music sucks...its a disgrace when emo is mistakenly called punk rock. punks were angry. emos are sad.
