wear whatever you feel most comfortable in to begin with.
i started when i entered high school. not because it was what everyone did, but I actually found them to be the most comfortable out of everything else. just do what you like though.
VPL's are NO good.

I think that thongs are good to wear for your husband.when ya get married.They should'nt be used for everyday use.I'll say a great age is...When ya get married.

Whenever you get an oufit that reqires one.. (white pants/skirts, tight jeans, spandex for volleyabll, ect).
