I am slightly different from other people tired of feeling lonely, I want people to accept me for me, and not judge me any advice? I live in a bad area with crummy people who are also perverts I do not want to be their friends.

Be your self ... be confident in who you are... never try to be something or someone for another person ... if your your self people with similar like will notice you and seek you out.
Go places you havent been before , start conversations, ask questions .... be noticed ... it will happen.

The best way to find friends is to be one. If you can't find quality people where you are, then go somewhere else. You might have some luck doing volunteer work for those in need -- people who like to help others tend to make better friends than perverts ;-)

well what type of friends are you looking for?
accepting, not judging type?
i guess know what type of person your looking for and find out what they do and where they hang. if you know that then you can meet up with them.
personally i find good ways of meeting people is playing team sports, dancing and going to bars / clubbing. im a freindly guy and i strike up converstions with who eva wants to.
it works for me, i meet up with nice frinedly people so you can try it too.
