undergrad psychology does not have a lot to do with human behaviour and actions rather it focuses on how the brain works. Sociology I believe is more about human interaction. But if you are really interested in why humans do what they do and how to decode human behavior I would suggest going into criminology and becoming a profiler. Top profilers make alot of money

Character behaviour is controlled by persons mind therefore an analysis of the mind is necessary. The only qualification ot there for that is a psychologist. Otherwise you can work in medical research laboratory and test chemicals and procedures on test animals and observe the reaction mental and physical. Microbiologist/scientist.

How about work in Human Resources for some big corporation? Of course, you'll have to work your way up to that, but it's a place to start. You could begin by working your way into recruiting talent for companies, or work in a position where you woud do the hiring. Or, you could hook up with a law firm and study jury pools, and train attorneys on jury behavior.

This answer is for opaque. The guy didn't say he didn't to be (sic) a psychologist. He said he didn't want to be a phycologist. There's a big difference, hun.
But supposing for a minute that I misunderstood the question, hun, and he wanted to study psychology but not be a psychologist, then wouldn't that be having the cake and not eating it?
Call me Atilla.

studying human behavior is almost always a psychologist with a PhD. And they are usually professors...Professors by the way, usually make small salaries well below 90,000. But if you aspire to that type of salary, you are going to have to learn how to work hard..starting with your spelling for sure.
My recommendation is to begin with the book, 'What Color is Your Parachute" and do all the work required including other books that it recommends that apply to your situation..your going to have to get your *** in gear if you aspire to such an income..get movin buddy

What about a social worker? Or an organizer or director of a charity - would require a business degree, I think. Or become a TEACHER! Of course, you'll never make 90k a year! You're going to have to work hard toward that! Get educated as much as you can!

You can do Social Work where psychology can be a small part. Social Work teaches everything about behavior and also includes methods to rectify it. You can specialize in therapy after social work.

You don't to be a psychologist, but you want to study human behaviours and actions????
Um.....psychology IS the study of mind: the scientific study of the human mind and mental states, and of human and animal behavior.
You can't have your cake and eat it too, hun.

Perhaps you'd want a career in the human service fields: guidance counselor, social worker, teacher, special education (learning disability, behavior disorder, emotionally disturbed, attention deficit,...etc.) school phychologist; criminal justice...to name a few.
