Yes, I pay a retired lady who has no pension to clean my house, while me and the kids go out on Saturday afternoon and have a good time together at the park or the YMCA. Then we get to come home to a nice clean house, and she has grocery money for the week. It's a win win.

Sometimes. It depends. I Live in an apartment and pay rent that includes mowing and snow shoveling and maintenence, so I'm actually paying for those services. I guess if I go out to eat I'm paying someone to cook for me (and I can do it myself). If I had a lot of money I would definitely pay people to do things for me! Like cleaning and babysitting and OMG I can think of all kinds of things I'd rather someone else did!

Why of course DieselWeasel. What is the fun of doing it yourself when you can sit and watch someone else do it? If I gave you $20 would you come and clean out my garage?

I despise housework, so yes, I have paid others to come in and do it for me. I have more pressing matters to attend to, and I think that is going to make the house look most beautiful for the king of the castle. Sometimes, I trade services, such as piano lessons for cleaning house.

Not usually. In the summer I did pay the neighborhood kids to do yard work only because they were saving for new bikes :)

No. I don't have the money, plus if I can do it myself I like to put my own "touch" to it... it makes the whole ordeal worth it. Something I can call my work and take pride in... even if it's something small. :)

Yes, I always take my car to a car wash and have it cleaned inside and out. I hate washing my car.
