reset ypur Idle speed , and unless it has been retorfitted it takes R12.

The idle is supposed to increase when a/c turned on.
Check the fittings then go to auto parts store and look at fittings onr134a and you can see the difference. You cannot purchase r12 unless you are licensed to do so.

When you turn the AC on a seperate solenoid takes over idle control. There's a manual screw for when the AC is OFF.
R12 unless it's been converted.

I need to know if your 2.0 is carburated or fuel injected to fix the idle problem.your ac system came from the factory with r12.If you see a red and blue plastic cap on your ac service ports it was probably converted.Your questions are hard to answer without looking under the hood

There is a sticker on the car under the hood somewhere. Depends on the year. Look at the fittings. R-12 looks like brake line fittings. Good luck.

R12 always has screw type fittings and R134A has air hose quick connect type fittings.
