I had a big problem a few years ago after installing the toolbar. Whenever I would browse, I kept getting that annoying Microsoft window popping up announcing that there was an error in Internet Explorer and it had to shut down. Well, I re-installed it a few days ago and the same problem re-emerged. I uninstalled the toolbar but the problem persisted until I restored my pc to a point before I installed the device and problem solved (so far, so good). So what is going on with that toolbar anyway? I have no pc viruses so I would appreciate any insights into this headache.

I've had no problem with it but I personally didn't see any advantage to it so I deleted it from IE7 and from Firefox.

It's just Yahoo's way of staying on top of your PC and your surfing .

Remember, it's a commercial site so they are going to take any advantage they can. Although I must say, Yahoo is really good and not a pain in the butt like AOL.
