It means to me that I am free from the chaos that other countries have. Now dont get me wrong we have chaos here also but we have rules and regulations that govern us and sometimes I dont like those rules and regulations but I follow them because they work for us to a point. I love being an American we have a lot more freedom and no one can compare to our freedom but having rules and regulations sets us apart from the rest of the world

A lot less than it did years ago when I was a kid. I really believed in that truth, justice, and the American way stuff. It turned out to be bullshit. Now we're hated the world over not just because we're rich but because we're bullys who push everyone else around till we get our way. We detain, torture, and kill all in the name of national security. We've lost the art of diplomacy and compromise. Now you're "with us or agin us". Worst of all we've lost our compassion for others. More and more you hear "Keep em out" or "Kill them all". It's not a proud time to be an American.

Freedom!!!! Don't swallow everything your government tells you. Think for yourself. Don't let them tap your phone. Own legal guns. Vote with the confidence that your vote will count. Be able to voice your views on anything. I could go on, but that should be enough.

it means ur either really rich or really poor.
to have bad manners and terrible popular culture and big cities that aren't half as awesome as London or Paris or Madrid.
it means ur either like anorexic or obese.
it means asking questions to generalize bajillions of people when that is impossible.
it means using one persons stupid stereotypes.

it means living here and surviving in an industrial-capitalisim society that is oppressive to any1 who is outside the perfect mold, and who ostracizes the inhabitants of our 'great country'.

It means that I am a U.S. Citizen. That's the basics, just about nothing else. Oh, and it also means that I'm stereotyped and ridiculed by other countries. :)
