I am a darker complection like Iman (the model) and i have a formal dinner coming up. I have heard people say coral, salmon or anyknid of pink. But i just don't know.

Jewel colors look beautiful on darker skin. Emerald, ruby, sapphire, you get the picture.

I agree with Aunty Social...jewel tones look awesome with dark skin...deep purples, turqoise, and gold. Baby pinks wouldn't work, and I'm just not a fan of Salmon on anybody...but coral could work. Stay away from blues...unless you want that seventies disco look.

Actually yes, lighter colors will bring out your eyes and everything, so anything pink is great. Greens, White, and soft pastels also would look great. Maybe try to opt for something like a pink silky dress? It would compliment your features.

Coral would be good. A deep tangerine would be lovely as well. No one looks pad in pink, but sometimes pink looks a little cheap. Gold accents would be nice as well.

I would say, greens and blues. Stay away from yellows; it will make you look very funny. Go from a sky blue to a navy and a forest green to a leafy green. Pinks would look okay, too. good luck!

I can see you in silver and golds.They are rich colors and would look great with your skin tone.Blue would be pretty also.White would look crisp and fresh on you,and it always makes you look clean and just great looking for the dinner party.Good luck and have fun.
