Im not so sure that they would be sorry for doing a cover of Gary Glitter. I only say this because Human League do excellent covers of all the Motown groups etc and it's what they do. If they were doing a "Gary Glitter" promotional show/tour, then they might be in some trouble with everyone knowing GG is a peodpohile and shouldnt be glorified, but one song dosnt and shouldnt affect them. :)

Gary Glitter is a wussie , but The Human League aren't exactly Slayer, either .

I doubt that Phil Oakey cares, as the cover was recorded by the first line up of the band, and probably wasn't in their set lists after Ian and Martyn went off to form Heaven 17. Actually, this begs another question - if you were a really big fan of a band or singer, and they turned out to be a paedophile or something, would you stop listening to their music because you think thats the right thing to do, or because you would go off it?

Probably. They were a funny bunch weren't they? I had to do a dance in PE to "Being Boiled"! Ha ha. When I think back to that, it makes me blush.
