Flagyl is metabolized in your liver. So is alcohol. The combination of the two together overworks your liver. You probably wouldn't even be able to tell, but it's like taking a half bottle of tylenol at one time.

Don't take the flagyl anymore if what you're having is a yeast infection. Take diflucan or miconazole inserts. Flagyl isn't for yeast infections. It's usually prescribed for intestinal tract infections or urinary tract infections.

I think it just kills the effectiveness of the pills, so the medicine you went and got and paid for is wasted.
