A Newsweek article was recently completely shown to be false by the Pentagon....So with NYT sales down and Newsweek offering fake news.

That's hardly a reliable source.

Considering, the site's own title says it's anti-liberal, I am not going to trust what they've said.

I do think that Newsweek overstated its case, but it's hard fact that the Taliban has established a foothold in what amounts to nearly 40% of the nation of Afghanistan.

It's not made up news, it's just overstated news.

And, in the very article that talks about the NYT sales being down, it also says that sales of the conservative Dallas Morning News is down by a similar amount. Sales of the NYT are down because the whole newspaper industry is down.

Newsweek liberals owned bigtime, I stopped reading them during the Reagan years for all their lies and half truths.

it's all an exercise in semantics?

it's newsweek saying "terrorists are running free"

and the US saying "if we see them, we will kill them"...

but that doesn't mean the story is false... it could just mean that they don't see them...

what EXACTLY did they make up? since you said they made it up...
