Seriously....where did all these supposed Bear "fans" come from? For a couple decades...I had thought they were all but extinct...but now they seem to be everywhere. Has their ever been a more serious case of bandwagon jumping and did the term originate because of Bear fans?

BTW...is "da" actually a word that Bear fans use regularly?

I have been a Bears fan my entire life. Like any team, their biggest fan base comes from their home city. If you didn't know, Chicago is the third largest city in this country. So there are a lot of Bear fans. Sure there is some bandwagon jumping going on, but for the most part I think most Bear fans are fans to the core. We may be a bit more vocal this year, but have every reason to be. By the way the term bandwagon jumping had to have originated with the Cowboys, "da".

well yeah usually people from chicago say "da bears" and now everyone says it because its so like...dumb or something.
they aren't bandwagon jumpers
it's just what did they have to brag about? so they quietly cheered their team, until now. now cowboys fans, there are some bandwagon fans. cheering when they win, booing when they lose.

Maybe cause they're winning so much and everyone always likes the winning teams.
