A couple (3-4, tops) neon tetras, 2-3 Corydoras catfish, a couple cherry barbs.. just about any community fish will do, but do be careful not to get too many or anything that will outgrow the tank. It's pretty well stocked if you use the rule of thumb of 1 gal/inch, but as long as you keep up with your water changes it'll be fine.

Edit: If it's as big as you say, I'd feel free to add another group or two of community fish. Like a few tetras and some catfish, or some mollies and cherry barbs...

I wouldnt put any more in. You get 1 inch with each gallon (1 in = 1 gallon). You have what I call basic fish. I have 2 adult guppies and about 60 baby fish witha 20 gallon tank. I will have to transfer some to another tank.

Corydoras catfish - they are a bottom swimming fish, and pick up food that falls to the bottom (no, they don't eat poop) They get along with everybody, bustle around the tank, and sit and roll their eyes at you. Very cute. There are a number of different patterns - brown, white, spotted. You should get two of them as they do like company and hang out together. They get 2-3 inches long and every tank should have some. Here is two types http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_cory3.php

You're pretty full right now. The rule I go by is;
every inch of fish = 1 gallon of water.

But if you Must have more, I'd suggest an angelfish, they are a bit aggressive but I am sure they will be fine.

A betta would also be a nice addition to the tank, as long as you only add one betta. I've found that bettas are calm towards tropical fish.

It would also be a nice addition if you added some zebra schooling fish, or dalmatian fish. But they like to be in pairs or small groups. Hope this helps.

Wouldn't get a male betta with the guppies. I'd go with 2 cory cats. Get a couple of apple or mystery snails for cleaners. I'd say you could go with 3-4 neons, they really don't put out much waste. That would be it though.

Ask your local aquarium for "community" fish. They are typically non-agressive and should work fine with your guppies and platys. Some community fish are tetras, green and tiger barbs, and mollies.
