Sounds like front end might need an alignment. It's a pretty standard procedure. Doesn't cost much. Good luck.

Take your car to a tire shop like Big-O or Firestone and have your front wheels balanced.

Basically each wheel on any car use lead weights to make sure wheels are balanced at low and high speeds. Sometimes you hit a bump and one of these weights will come off and you will feel the shaking at your steering wheels at high speed.

Hope this helps.

Prob just need to have the wheels balanced. The shop will rotate them also.

Ask them to inspect your suspension. You may want to get a wheel alignment as well.

None of this is very expensive, although any problems discovered may cost up to a few hundred to fix, depending on what is wrong. There may not be anything seriously wrong, but you do want to make sure all is well. Having steering on a car is a good thing, ya know...

I would bet you a dollar to a donut that it is a bad idler arm. This anchors all the steering linkage to the frame of the car. If you have rack and penion steering than it could be bad tye rod ends or ball joints, bad strut, wheel balance, or even bent wheel.

An alignment won't make it vibrate and wobble, but it will wear out the tires quickly. It would be best to have the front end and suspension inspected and have the wheels rotated and/or balanced as necessary. The alignment would be a good idea as well if you are noticing uneven tire wear. This can save ur life.....

A couple of things could be wrong. A front tire or both out of balance or perhaps even out of round (most unlikely). The ball joints could be worn out allowing the tire(s) to wobble at 60 mph. And its possible that a badly worn shock is allowing the tire to bounce up and down much more than normal.
A good front end shop or tire shop should be able to tell you. Good luck.

you need to re-align your car. The thing is that your wheels are not in the right degrees and it's not straight. The alignment if your car isn't accurate. This happens when you get into a car accident or you know when you park your car, you accidentally hit the front curb with your wheels? or go over those street bumps when your wheels aren't parallel with the bump, overtime your wheels get crooked. All you need to do is to bring your car to a auto repairshop and they will realign the wheels for ya, cost about 50 bucks. :). It's a pain in the as*s... i know..

It could be one of two things. A bad tire(s) or a out of balance tire(s). I would take it to a reputable garage and first get the front tires looked at. If the shaking came from the seat or body it would be the rear tires.

Well your tires need to be balanced for starters but you should take it to a mechanic and get an estimate to see how much needs to be done on it other than the tires.
